What makes a “home”?

I caught this over the weekend and shared it on our Facebook page.  It’s just a minute long and I hope it might give you a good thought or two for your day.

What it said to me is that those of us who give care and those in our homes who receive it are the people who know one another the best. And that comes through seeing one another at our best and our worst, learning to appreciate, accept, forgive – whatever’s needed to have the “home” that isn’t just four walls and a roof.

As care givers, we can consider ourselves blessed to be providing real family – the true “home” – to those in our care.
